Wake to the sound of the water passing below your bedroom window. Imagine the peace, with wildlife in abundance even an occasional kingfisher! A mill was recorded here in Little Crakehall in the Domesday Survey of 1086AD. The current working mill dates from the 17th century and is an excellent example of a country corn mill.
